Alan Webb
Alan is an experienced coach and facilitator with over 20 years of Board level experience in the NHS. He specialises in providing senior support to organisations and individuals to help them deliver against key challenges and targets.
He was previously Accountable Officer for three CCGs in East Berkshire, responsible for a budget of over £450M and a population of over 450,000.
Alan’s specialism is helping organisations and individuals achieve their full potential. He has significant experience in helping organisations navigate complex change. He is skilled at helping systems work together to find innovative solutions. He has worked with clinical and management professionals, board members and politicians, to deliver change across services and organisations.
He is a qualified coach and has worked with a range of senior professionals across health and social care to support their professional development.
Current projects include working with several PCN Clinical Directors to provide 1:1 coaching support to help them develop their PCNs following the challenges of Covid. He is also working with a number of ICBs to support and facilitate their development and help them make the best of the new opportunities that the new system presents. He continues to support a number of practices with their development – both including potential mergers as well as developing resilience and support for practices.
Other recent projects include working internationally to develop and deliver a leadership and coaching programme for an international organisation in the Middle East and helping ICBs develop localities to deliver across the wider system.
He was a facilitator for the NHS Leadership Academy Nye Bevan Programme for three years and is currently exploring other areas to support the national leadership team.
Alan has been Chair of a number of local charities including Active Oxfordshire [a part of Sport England tasked with improving physical activity levels] and a local youth theatre company who have gained an impressive reputation for the quality of their productions.
